'I have had reduced hair loss and hair regrowth in areas that were starting to thin'

For women and men who have hair loss or thinning hair, Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy, or PRP, can be used to naturally stimulate hair growth.  It is a state of the art, non-surgical, totally natural, alternative medical procedure used for the treatment of hair loss or hair thinning.

Studies have shown a 99 percent success rate in women with hormonal imbalances and about a 70 percent success rate with men who still have follicles. Imagine how a fuller, healthier head of hair could restore your confidence!

One of our clients, Jackie S., has had three different PRP treatments, including the one for hair loss. "As far as the hairline, I have had reduced hair loss and the hair regrowth in areas that were starting to thin," she says. "This has been a great improvement. I would definitely recommend it and do it again." (Read the full story about Jackie's PRP treatments.)

What is PRP Therapy?

PRP Therapy is part of a category of medicine called Regenerative Medicine. In simple terms, the process involves taking a small amount of your blood, concentrating your blood’s platelets, and then injecting the resulting platelet-rich plasma into an area of your body in need of regeneration.

When it comes to regenerating hair growth, our superior PRP harvesting process yields a very high growth factor concentration, which typically produces excellent results within two treatments. (Keep in mind that results do vary depending on type, how long and when the hair loss had begun. For advanced stages of hair loss, maintenance will be required.)

PRP is also being used in conjunction with some hair transplant procedures. At Halo, we also use PRP therapy to:

  • Perform non-invasive face lifts and breast lifts.
  • Spur hair regrowth.
  • Improve incontinence.
  • Boost sexual function for woman and men.
